Hey hey hey! There's nothing like being 48 and waking up with a hangover after only two glasses of red. Dinner last night with astro friends was wonderful. LOL!!!

Thanks so much for the best wishes Liz, John, Adrian, Warren, Mario, Peter, Al, Al, Gary, David and Gary An old bum like me certainly appreciates them!

I just noticed that I joined IIS in 2006, on August 21st - the day after my birthday on which I took delivery of my first "real" scope - Zane's 12" LX200 GPS. Lots of water under the bridge for IIS and myself since then. You people have been a great part of my last four years, and for that I thank you all!

The puggies? Well.. yes! They confabbed with my wonderful ex mother-in-law Gale to get me this fantastic (and rare) teal coloured early 20th century Swedish oil lamp for my collection. They also worked with my brother Steven and his wife to convert an old box of 8mm film from the late 50's and early 60s that my father took of their wedding, me growing up and a few places we lived around the world back then. He's whacked it all onto DVD and I can't believe that I'm watching footage of our family that I've never seen before. Talk about emotional...

All good! ... especially the beautiful bottle of '02 Saltram Cabernet Sauvignon from Carol & Debbie from MAS. Mmmmm!!!!!!!!!!
