Mars 28th Dec.

At last! Some semi-decent seeing conditions! (6/10)

Shot this about 30 mins after sunset, so it was very light out....not to mention hard to locate! Only lucked it with the finder scope. Unfortunately I did'nt have the toucam orientated in the scope properly, but thems the breaks.

500 frames stacked.

6" refractor & toucam.

yes, it has passed transit by the time you can find it!!!

well at least the weather is improving.

Have you had another go at jupiter? The great red spot is seeable on the 30th i believe?

nice one Asi, you can even see a bit of Utopia poking out from the north polar hood

a month ago I would have been more than happy with a 6 out of 10 seeing, but last week's run of 8-9/10 has spoiled me. Still it's amazing what we can do under these conditions with these little web-cams (I still remember the print films days of planetary)

Nah, have'nt had another go at Jupiter as yet....I will soon though.
