North Queensland Astro Shop please?

C'mon fellas - surely one of the established shop would consider branching out to invest in one of the most rapidly growing city in the country. Townsville is the second most populous in Queensland with heaps of growth , good skies - ( sometimes) and I cant even go to a local scope shop and drool. I'm sure someone could make a start here - anyone?

There's not much of a need for physical shopfronts these days when you can just have a warehouse & sell/ship online I wouldn't have thought.

It would be good to start a shop....or at least have a warehouse that you also had a display area where you could have a look. Costs heaps of dough though.

Possibly - but I feel that 'supply' via the internet to 'already involved customers' is one thing however marketing or selling is another and where theres lots of potential customers then thats where the proactive business(person) will be. Setup costs need not be that great if one already had an established business and you were simply 'branching out'

heehee .. we could all work there and get big discounts.
I kniow what you mean though Dave, it would be great to wander around a shop as well and check out the products live.
Ozcopes are pretty up there in their marketing, perhaps they could expand up here. I have been on their website for a LONG time this am.

There is nothing like being able to go to the shop and DROOOLLLLL all over the fun toy's on the internet is fine but it is hard to really get a feel for what is there until you can get your hands on something it feels more real then.

It's also hard to gauge whether you want to buy something or not when you're not quite sure it's what you want in the first place, or you would like to buy it but aren't quite sure about certain physical aspects of the item...like weight, actual size etc.
