It's interesting that the ISS is so stable a platform, maybe the best $104billion gyro stabilised mount available.

Think about it, put a nice scope on the ISS and no mirror flop, no counter weights, no camera sag no meridian flip, no PE, no atmospheric turbulence, no water vapour, no mount ! the list goes on...........

You'd have to have a mount for the scope, but just think of all those other advantages!!!!. Perfect for any RGB or NB pics

. Truly diffraction limited performance. Actually I think there'd be a good case for sending up a small scope like a 16 or 20" scope into space because even though it's small compared to something like Hubble, it can still do some great work. Plus, it's a lot, lot cheaper than sending up a huge mirror.
