Hi everybody:)

Hi everybody As you can see Im new here.
Well, finally joined the Ice in space forums and from what Iv seen so far its excellent and all the people are very friendly.

I got into Astronomy about 1 month ago and I finally bought myself my first telescope. (As my signature says its a trust 66S).

The way I got into Astronomy is not that special or strange at all. I was outside in my garden one night and I looked up at the stars and I said to myself: "Wow, now those look beautiful, I want to get a telescope and learn about space". So I did and here I am

Well, thats my intro, hope to get to know you all better!

Hiya Ali,

Good to have you on board!

Now, what's a 'Trust 66S Telescope'? Any pics to show us what it looks like?

Well, here it is. Nothing much, just like any basic 60mm OL and 700mm FL.

Its pretty good quality, cost me $199.

Just click on the link to see it.

**** Smith were selling the same thing for $66. Was my first telescope. Actually I got a lot of use out of it, more than the Optisan junk. I can still remember my first night trying to align faint fuzzy things in the finderscope... actually it probably would have helped if the finder was aligned. I think something happened to it and the housing warped, which screwed everything up. Oh well.

Anyway welcome to IIS
