'QLD Astrofest cunjunction' 12-8-10

Hi Folks

Went to QLD Astrofest.for a couple of nights,to catch up with friends.

Really did not plan to take any astro photos,but as I was sitting have a wine watching moon set,and friends set up gear,I thought the conjunction looked great and the scope gear in front of me-made for a interesting view-so I tried to capture it,hope you like.Also a general view looking west

Glad to see there have been some clear skies for the guys there.

Yes, planets looking good, thats for sure.

There was only a few clear nights Liz,3 inches of rain one night,blown away by strong winds the next.I think last night (13th) might have been the best

Nice shot Chris - I think the wind might have been nudging your camera, or was it the wine with dinner?
