Veil Nebula

I’ve been capturing this in narrowband over the past so many days (starting to get bored with it), hopefully SII tonight. This is 14hrs so far in Ha and OIII which has finally got rid of the noise:

Very nice detailed image Malcolm.
Mammoth effort time wise too.
How did you combine? Ha:OIII(G):OIII(B)??
And, what was the imaging scope/lens?

Thanks Doug

Details are:

Camera - Art 11002
Scope - Tak FSQ 106 EDX III
Mount - ap1200
Astronomik 2" filters

Processed in Maxim DL, fits files into Photoshop, OIII, Ha, OIII in ratio 1,2,2. Final improved version using Steve Cannistra’s Bicolor processing method (searched on the web) to create this from Ha and OIII.
