Comparison between modded and unmodded 350D

A comparison between images taken pre- and post-modding by Eric (thanks again!)

The un-modded image (first one) was taken at a reasonably dark site, the modded one was last night 5km from the Brisbane CBD. The ambient temp was ~5 degrees higher last night.

During processing in Maxim, I pushed the red channel on un-modded image, but instead pushed the green & blue slightly on the modded one. I have used a similar recipe in Photoshop for both.

Quite a difference.

pretty good comparison - then once you add a cooler it is then a quantum leap - a noise reduced image is priceless
