The Milky way at Mercedes

Hi All!

Mercedes is a town 100km away from Buenos Aires, it has a nice observatory and much cleaner skies than heavily polluted Buenos Aires. Last time I went there I took this WA image of the southern milky way over a corn field:

http://www.luisargerich.com/night/h13d77dc1#h13d77dc1
(Click it to see larger in dim the lights mode)

It shows alpha & beta centauri, crux, the coalsack nebula and the Magellan clouds on the right side.

Taken with a Canon 5DII and a 17-40F4 lens fixed tripod, single exposure.

Cheers!
Luis

Foreground makes it creepy for me, keep expecting a big eyed alien to come out of it saying "Why are you watching us".
