Telstra Still Sucks in the Country

Hi All,
Not on much at the moment cause my " Wireless Broadband?" is back to under 8KBS typically below 3KBS because i've used up my 6GB for the month (refresh on the 27th).
My beaf is that i was told it would reduce to dial-up speed which is 28KBS or 14 times faster than what i've got!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring on the competition!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in a hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!.:mad2 :
It sucks living in the far north.
Well that's my whinge for the moment.
Oh well i'll crawl back in the cupboard for another week.

Competition is on its way, but I dunno if it's going to get up your way.
I get ADSL2+ speeds on wireless(WiMAX not 3G), probably better than most people do on ADSL unless they are within 1km from an exchange.
And I'm not paying Telstra (or even Virgin or dodo) prices.

Dunno about your numbers, dial-up is 56kbs or 7kBs.
I used to get about 48kbs (~6kBs)connection most days on dialup and I would never have been able to DL 6gig in a month.
Could probably do it in a day now, but thats gonna hurt my limit
