The Dark Tower

The weather has still been poor in Moorook so my exposure time is not what I usually enjoy. Short time makes a grainy image. Still, here is an image of the Dark Tower in Scorpius. I took this to add to my cometary globule collection.

Top shot Tom. The nebulosity outline is so well defined. One of my favorite area. There are so many goodies on Scorpius don't know where to start.

Another great image Tom, this time it is lovely and subtle, nice work!

Lots of HII but plenty of dust in there too!

Congrats Tom on your latest APOD, so much for a short, grainy image.

Well done.

Whohoo! Another one for the poolroom. Congrats!
ps: that's a bit of an odd framing they used on APOD? What does it look like to you?
