Taken on Saturday night while camping at a remote hut via Peel.

Nice work Al, you've got some lovely star colours in there.
A shame you couldn't get a more interesting foreground scene?

Yes.

Foreground scenes were rather limited being pretty deep in a valley and surrounded by trees... I tried a couple closer to the campfire, but the reflected fire light overexposed before the stars were any good, and I didn't think any of the stars would be recognizable as a constellation.

You can't always get what you want...
