Jupiter, June 1

I'm working portable at Trevors place for this week, on a new laptop I bought a couple of weeks ago with a display I don't trust :-) So forgive the probably dodgy colours and brightess etc.

Here's an image of Jupiter from this morning, showing some interesting stuff, the string of dark storms in the SEB is becoming more prominent and also there
's a string of "light" storms above it.... what does it all mean??...

I have some pics to post as well of my scope set up in Trevors backyard next to his observatory...

That is a truly amazing looking image bird. The colour looks pretty good to me , but its the appearance of Jupiter itself that has popped my eyes. Are we in for some extra belts and zones for a while? That is an intriguing Jupiter bird. Thanks.

I reckon the storms are eminating from the feature central in my image of 17 May. See link below.

The storms can be vaguely seen but I am certain they are like the recirculation of 2007. Perhaps John Rogers may have an opinion.
