Saturn with 25", my 1st LRGB

Hi folks,

some days ago I were at an observatory in Austria. It is on the Gerlitze.
A friend of mine is a memer of the astronomical society.
So I got the chance to observe with an 25" RC . It was the first time in my life.

Here some impressions:

Venus:

Lyra:

And now my Saturn. Done with avistack, Fitswork, Registax and Photoshop.

Moons from left to right: Rhea, Tethys, Dione and Titan.

It was nice to work with LRGB, never done before.

One thing I have to tell. We observed M57 and it was no probelm to see the central star!!! Despite moonlight.

Cheers

Werner

Hi Werner,

Thanks so much for sharing this experience with us. M 57 with a 25" RC would have been memorable, indeed.

It sounds like you had a very good time, there really is no substitute for aperture.

Regards
Trevor

Hi Werner, what an experience. Many would be envious, me included.

All the best.
