Looks alright to me! Waaayyyy better than my first Venus!!!! Actually, I don't think I've got a pic that good yet! I've got an Avi of it I must put through the Registax wringer, and I will see how good it comes out. Each frame of the Avi is a blurred dancing mess though so I'm not expecting much.

Done David. I have placed it in a new thread. This one is Dana's thread so I left it out of here.

Thanks everyone, I was using my Orion 127mm Mak and 32mm plossl e.p. with my Fuji S5000 camera mounted on the SteadyPix camera mount (afocal-always). :-) I think I used some optical camera zoom, but cant remember how much for this shot. Camera ISO setting was 200, 2.8 appeture, at either 1/25th or 1/20th of a sec. unguided and manually focused. I think if I had used 3.2 or 4.0 appeture (sp?) it would have been a little better.....? dt
