Ngc6822.

The Barnard's galaxy.
This is one faint sucker and next time i have to go to 15 Minutes Luminance to get something desent.
QHY9 on ED80.
25X5Minutes Luminance and 10X100 Seconds LRGB each.

Nice image Martin, well framed and your focus seems to be spot on. Is that a planetary to the left of the dwarf galaxy?

That small blue spot belongs to the galaxy and is not a planetary.
Going to do some longer exposures and bring it out more.

Nice catch Martin - it sure is a faint and difficult object and you've caught it well.

Marty use a bigger scope it's very faint VB 9+ and would fit the FOV of the 8" Newt nicely this way you get more SNR per light than you'll get even going longer with the ED80

i was not even sure it was in the picture at all,untill i started to stretch the image
