Moon shots 12th Dec.

Good idea Ice!

Heres some moon pics for you mate! I know NOTHING about the moon, so gawd knows what these 'features' are.

Took myself on a laptop guided tour lol.....at mag..HEAPS!! I'm at my workable limit I think! Darn frustrating getting focus & it certainly brings out the worst in a poxy polar alignment! PE on the EQ5 is yuck too.

Out of these 3 photos, I should of only posted 1 but what the heck!

PS! I must have struck a moment of good seeing on pic 2!

yep, schiller. Nice one Asi! The moon is certainly a difficult target at times because it's using the whole frame!

Also, getting the correct exposure can be very difficult.

You've done a nice job for a first attempt on the moon!

Hey Asi, you've inspired me! If the cloud parts a little I'm going to give my Mewlon 180a run of the moon at high power and see what I can pot
