what do i do

hi all probably a silly question so hear gos my scope is permanently mounted in observatory do i leave ccd and eye pieces on scope or remove them, witch is best.

Up to yourself. If you leave them on, you don't have to keep putting them back on when you want to use them later on. However, I usually take my ep's out and store them. If you do take out your ep's and/or CCD, make sure you you take out the diagonal and close the rear cell with a cap. If you leave them in, get something to cover them when not in use.

hi carl yes i do do cover them, it is a lot of aisle to set up every time.

My CCD camera and the guider never get taken off the scopes. I cover the entire scope if I'm not using it for a few days but otherwise leave it uncovered to let any dew dry off it.
