Leo Triplet Galaxies from last night in Melbourne, before the clouds rolled in...

QHY8 20x5min subs

Not much detail...but I still had some fun...

A nice capture Rob. It's a pity about the clouds, a few more subs would really start to bring out the details.

Try and grab a few more subs at a later date and then add then to the pic.

Yeah...sound nice to add more subs...but the details are just washed out by the sky glow. About 10 subs seem to be about the optimum for the ED80...hope to get to some dark skies this weekend.

Very nice image. Could have used either a lot more subs or better still longer subs to lift the galaxies off the image.

Doug, what I am saying is that longer or more subs in the city do make any improvement to the final result because of the sky glow limit...
