10/12/05 O'l Luna

Here's my latest Luna mosiac

8" f/6 newt, LPI

9 image composites of 10 to 30 x 0.005 sec exposures, aligned, merged and
processed in PS

High Res version is located here...
http://members.westnet.com.au/rocker...iac_101205.jpg 1.1mg

Seeing and trans was fluctuating mainly below average, Mars was a no goer
Saturn passable at lower mag.

1 image composite of 400 x 0.005 sec exposures x3 Vixen barlow, stacked
and combine as we went. Had the wrong darkframe for this capture any
attempt to process it seem to bring out noise. So it's as is.

Thanks for looking

regards,CS

That's an awsome lunar pic Rob, the detail is clear as.

Saturn's not too shabby either, i'd say awsome as well.

Well done, keep em coming.

That's a super Lunar mosaic Rob. You have also excelled in processing it, to retain the detail in the highlights and shadows - great job.

Cheers
