RIP Guenter Wendt

Anyone who followed the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo Programs will know who Guenter Wendt was and his importance and contribution to these programs.

Thanks Hans for posting this. It is sad to hear of his passing. Im interested in the Apollo missions - and first heard of Guenter when watching Apollo 13.

Very sad day indeed.

Cheers Petra d.

Sad to learn this.

He certainly had one fabulously cool job though.

The one and only thing that could make me want to be older is to experience the Apollo years live being born in 1965 meant that I really don't remember it. I do remember him from the movie but it's not the same so I don't have memories of him of my own
