Not being able to see the pics, I assume that it is this thing.
It seems to have gone missing.

Looks interesting Odille, hopefully if it's space junk there's nothing harmful within.

Cannot discard the hypothesis that it "slipped" into another another dimension...

The pics of burned out material seem incontrovertible proof of alien life (they're tiny little critters - see Douglas Adams) coming to visit us but not having done their homework burned up entering the atmosphere....

I need a holiday i think...

Here is my deduction, Watson!
It's a saucepan or cooking pot of some sort. You can see the black bakelite type handle at the back of the first picture and you can see where it attaches to the main body. The lid is also evident in the background.

I tend to agree. Keeping in mind the limitations of the exposure we have with the items.

I have an addition to your deduction (Dr. Watson, if I may call you that?)
The grey white colouring appears to be oxidised aluminium. Also it seems to have come out of a fire.

I wonder if it contained something with the lid strapped to it (with wire) and it exploded and flew out from a neighbour's incinerator?

That explains the burning grass and it fell from the sky.

Good deduction there my fellow Dr. Watson.

Heck I don't know, maybe aliens are playing with us.

I used to make "bombs" as a kid.

Cheers Marty

Could be a battery someone has thrown onto a fire the outer casing is generally soft metal the hole down the middle is where the graphite rod would go
