Fading AR April 23rd

A close up of the fading AR on the NE. Still tugging the chromosphere around though.

Nice pic, but I don't know about "fading", David. The sun has a huge active area happening at the moment, but there's no sunspot in it and the turmoil is barely visible without double-stacking. Fortunately, we've had perfect viewing conditions all day today here in Perth.

Was wondering where you were Matt!
Yeah Michael its a strange one, according to space weather itss done whats its had to do and is fading (doesnt look it to me either)
Ken nice pics got that flat one to the east also. Sometimes that type are associated with ARs......
