EQ5C Equatorial Mount

For sale is an EQ5C equatorial mount with aluminium tripod in very good condition. The mount includes an EQ-5 dual axis motor drive with hand controller. The DEC driver is not functioning at present (motor is fine). I am asking $300 plus postage.

[SOLD]

Cheers
John

I am interested. Any idea how much it might cost to repair the "DEC driver"? Also how much does it weigh? How much for postage/shipping?

Regards

Hi,
I'm interested in this, if it's still for sale. I'm not sure what the DEC driver is though....is this something easily repairable, and at what cost?
Thanks,
Stephen

Hi Stephen

The mount is pending sale, but I can contact you if it falls through.

The DEC driver is the part of the control electronics that drives the DEC motor. I'm not sure of how easy to fix or the cost. The mount is still quite usable manually in DEC, but has manual and motor control in RA.

Cheers
John
