question about grey market PGR cameras

I will confess here and now that I purchased a Dragonfly2 camera from an ebay vendor for $275.00. The camera has functioned nominally but I have noticed that the camera has a bunch of strange flashing pixels as well as a non-uniform field when the output is fully stretched. With my DMK the fully stretched histogram output is just a pile of white noise but there is no gradient or uneveness to the hash. Is this to be expected with "grey market" cameras?

Dave, not sure about that, it's possible that the ccd has changed a little in response over time. You could consider making a flat-field image to correct it, I think registax has support for loading a flat-field image.

cheers, Bird
