Avatar on DVD

Jeez, it didn't take long for the release of Avatar on DVD/BluRay..scheduled for 29 April. Whilst watching V I noticed Nine showing ads for the release.

I'm still waiting for the DVD release of Zombieland

Avatar 2 is scheduled to release in 2012. I see Avatar as inspiring as I hope to have a bright future in Deep Space Exploration. Not saying that Pandora exists as it is a fictional moon of Polyphemus, a gast giant that revolves around Aplha Centauri A.

Great, now I can finally watch it. I must be the only 30 year old male in Australia who hasn't seen it.

The James Horner soundtrack was released on iTunes today (19th) and the movie will be available on the 29th to coincide with the DVD. Can't wait to download it to my AppleTV

I haven't seen the movie but I'm tempted to buy the soundtrack just because it's James Horner I'm sure it'll be a beautiful piece of work.

All the copies out there are fairly lousy quality , probably filmed in the theatre with a hand held video camera.

A friend gave me a quality copy a few weeks ago. I'm glad I didn't spend $30 on it ..without the huge screen and 3d it looked very CGI , and there were just no new depths to explore. I only made it half way through having allready seen it in 3D twice . Bring on Avatar 2

My wife bought the DVD in Woolies today for $18

I'm amazed at how cheap it was.
