Went to the beach and found this...

Went for a stroll along the beach today and found a couple of these seals catching up on some sleep time. was able to get heaps of shots.

That's so cool! Did you manage to get very close to them? I saw some while fishing early in the morning but never really up close. They just swim on their back with their flippers in the air. So funny.

Thanks for the comments guys. Marc, I was close enough to almost touch them. I got to about 3 or 4 meters from them. I used a zoom lens to photograph them though.
Had a great day. We were looking for penguins but only saw one and wasn't able to get a good shot.
