Venus and the moon

Here's my shots from the wide conjunction last night..

Visually, it looked spectacular!

1: Moon: 75-300mm lens @ 300mm f/5.6 1/125s exposure. Cropped, resized and slightly processed.

2. Moon and Earthshine: 75-300mm lens @ 155mm f/5.6 3.2s exposure. Resized. Can anyone tell me where the reflection is coming from? From inside the lens, or is it because of the UV filter?

3. Moon and Venus, and silly trees in the way. 75-300mm lens @ 125mm f/5.6 4s exposure. Crop and auto-levels. Good old internal reflection again.

4. Same as above, without the auto-levels.

I used my wireless remote to take these.. such a handy gadget!

They've come up nicely Mike.
The first one is great and I like the colours in all of them.

It was a beautiful sight and great weather for it.
