4th december 2005 venus and the moon

I wished I could have lifted my mount out for longer shots, but had to make do with the tripod

these are getting better each month i reckon.

A real trick to get them as "true as the eye sees it"

these are getting close for me!

You did very well Dave, they came up nicely.
You don't really need the mount for shots like these as the moon and Venus are quite bright and only need short exposures.

Save your back for those DSO's.
