My Mars last night

Ok Paul said to post one, not up the grade of his, but Mars is disappearing, so any images are better than none.
Settings same as my previous image, well almost, mucked around with colors a bit in photoshop no deconvolution or any of that stuff as yet, but might have another fiddle later.

yeah since I got the electric focuser for the Tak it makes the process of focusing so much easier. I am slowly getting the hang of this Tak, the mind boggles what the 150 is like and there is muted a TOA170 in the wings within the next 18mths. The 150 weighs nearly 2x that of the 130 so God knows what the 170 would weigh/cost.

Nice images Peter, good to see more of your images being posted. I your a perfectionist. However a lot of your images are quite good. Worthy of us mere mortals viewing anyway. Keep em coming. Tharis looks great BTW.

Excellent image Peter. Lovely details with very good processing. All I could manage last night from Brisbane was a featureless, shimmering red ball of mush!

Cheers

Dennis

The reprocessed version is just as good as any I've seen I think. There is something really pleasing about it, I can't put my finger on what it is though. I just like it a lot.

Here's another one from midnight last night. Lots of dew and seeing about 5/10 all similar settings.
