It cleared tonight eventually....shame about the 3/10 seeing conditions.

I think I had the brightness setting up a bit too high for venus. Oh well.

Yeah, I've got a crappy mars ready to post soon.......It's starting to blow pretty bad so I may miss out on the trifecta! Venus is winning by 2 lengths at least.

i like this one, i think you are right, overexposed, but lovely sharp shape!!!

had a look at the 2006 astronomy book and in january, would it be possible to do all planets in one night (well maybe not pluto!!!)

I went for all nine when it was possible to do that (visually) earlier this year, just after I 'discovered' uranus & neptune.
