It was a good week M83, NGC2438, M8, NGC3372

I have been waiting for nearly two weeks to get some clears skies on my days off. (i work nights exclusively!). Finally I was able to get out and had an imaging feast. Here are my latest from my C9.25 and a GstarEx mono. I am using LRGB with 150-100 frames, stacked in registax V5 then post processed in CCDStack and finished in photoshop CS4.

All the best

Paul

Hello Paul,

These are good images! I especially like M83 and the planetary nebula (don't know its NGC number). Are you running in Alt-Az or on an equatorial wedge? When you say "150-100 images" is that total, or per channel (i.e. 400-600 images?

Well done with the mighty GStar.

Regards,
Tony Barry

Hi Tony,

Firstly I'm using my C9.25 on an EQ6Pro mount. I took the pictures on 128 Sense up with an average of 150 Lum and 100 RGB images. They were then stacked in registax with dark and flats, post processed and registered in CCDstack and then finished in Photoshop CS4.

all the best

Paul
