Lucien there's a magenta cast across the presented image which is hindering the vibrant colours of the region. Pushing the green channel may improve the result, but you'll need to do this subtly as it can be over powering. Keep at it.
Sorry to hear you lost shots Lucien. What you have there is still a fantastic shot. It sounds like you don't have to worry about noise too much! Just how cold is "froid" to those in France?!
