Hi All
Just added an image of the Great Orion Neb and surround
I am new to imaging and learning the processing side.
I am also colour blind which is not a great help with colour imaging
Any suggestions/tips most welcome

Hi there Dave, your colors are a bit off if you want you can email the images to me and I can check them for you if you think the colors are not wright.

Guiding, focus etc look pretty good but the blues and purples are very cyan biased instead! Another reprocess with maybe someone looking over your shoulder to keep the colors right

Thanks for your tips
I agree I need someone looking over the shoulder as far getting the colours right.Now that I look at the image I can see some light polution creeping into the image at the bottom edge
Imaged under fairly severe light polution.

So that's what the world looks like to a colorblind person. Very interesting mate, stuff like that fascinates me!

I bet you almost throw up when you see the colors the rest of us process in. It must look very strange indeed!

Besides, who says you aren't right and we aren't wrong? Maybe it's us that are colorblind...

They say that no two pair of eyes are the same so could this also be the same for seeing colour.
With myself I find I have probs with shades of colour under certain lighting.
I can under some light see the difference between red and black but under certain light red will look black.
I have trouble with some reds that will look orange as is also the case with green and brown.
But the above is not always the case under certain lignting or shades.
I can have trouble telling the difference between pink, purple and blue.

Just wondering if the wide stars spikes and the slight halo is due to exposure or focus? Looking at the total data it's very nice even from a LP area. I have the same kit as yours and things look encouraging. Keep up the good work..

I use Images Plus for stacking and have been playing around with sigma clipping medium and have found it does not always align the stars and I think it may have been a little off.
They do suggest(Mike Unsold) using min to max in the stacking method for best results and have found it to be the better method.

The focus is ok as images plus also has camera control with has a built in focusing software.
