saturn animation
Hi all,
Here's a 4-frame animation of Saturn from the 19th, the time delay between frames is about 6 minutes. The animation helps to show cloud detail, especially in the bright equatorial region just above the rings.
It also helps to see Rhea, which is otherwise hard to spot in transit.
The image size comes in just under the 200kb limit, but the conversion to gif degrades the images quite a bit.
cheers, Bird

Another excellent presentation Bird,
As you say the conversion to gif has degraded the images which really is a shame. There certainly appears to be some cloud movement but it is hard to differentiate from the artifacts of the gif.
I assume that Rhea is the bright spot moving, down in the STrZ. The animation really helps in identifying it.
Regards
Trevor

Here's a link to a better online animation that keeps the original image quality:

This works in firefox, not sure about other browsers :-)
