Yep..
This (0.1% variation) correspond to mag 0.00108.... not much in relative terms...

Why does this sound familiar?? I recall someone telling me this about 20 years ago. Was it only "suspected" back then?

That would be enough to explain a 3 degree absolute temperature change. So much for the experts. Who says we are causing the earth to get hotter.

He he, the Sun is good. Sitting on the patio on a warm morning with a solar scope/filter, with a cool drink or a cuppa, and the birds chirping. Beats freezing in the cold of night to observe!!

I wonder if the climate modellers have included the fact that the sun is variable.
