Correct, soft impact, nobody was hurt at all. No, not me nor my car!
17-year old L-plate driver, alone, drunk as a skunk, and he evaded the scene of the accident. Needless to say the police were not impressed.

Exactly, if he has any sense, he should realise he's come away very lucky and has hopefully learnt a valuable lesson. Fox!

Hi Fox,

You must have suffered trauma? Sue his insurance. Did he damage your scope? Claim that too if it be the case.

Cheers Marty

Hi Marty, no trauma, just a bit of a fright. I wasn't observing at all, but I did happen to be awake doing some reading for work (now that's sad, I'm told). I had heard the same car revving around the streets about an hour prior to the incident. Touch wood, I won't have to sue or involve insurance, the driver's family appear to be highly embarrassed and (so far) are offering to cover the fence repairs. Fox.
