Lymax SCT cooler

Some time ago, there was a discussion on SCT coolers.

Well, I have ordered one of the Lymax coolers. The reason being is that for one I love gadgets and two I am very serious about getting better planetary images.

So I will be letting you all know what I think of the unit and how well it works. There are some SCT owners here that will no doubt be interested in this stuff.

As Bird says cooling is one of the biggest problems for any scope. Cooling an SCT is a nightmare at best. Hopefully, this Lymax will make the difference.

I've been temped for a while Paul, but fortunately the lousy weather has saved me from commiting myself to one. I'm looking forward to your thoughs on it.

I was going to order one with my current order from OPT ATM but they didn't have mine in stock...for the price I think their well worth it...let us know what you think..

Did you get the extra pack of filter..their only $3.00

Tony, yep got the extra pack of filters. I suspect though the filters are in fact the same filtering material that I use in my Eheim Cannisters for my fish tank. Dacron. However I will wait and see.
