Thumbs up "They must be Crazy"

Greetings

The next Launceston Astronomical Viewing Group session will be on the newmoon (or there abouts) on Sunday Morning the 4th of December.

Location:
Photon'sPharm@Bridgenorth

Start Time:
3AM

Finish Time:
Breakfast time!

All are invited! PM for directions on how to get there if you need them!

We are looking forward to great views of Saturn and the Launceston early morning sky!

So its early to bed the night before and set your alarm clocks!

I'm not sure about breakfast arrangements at this stage so I'll post a further announcement if people need to bring stuff.

Happy Hunting

Hmm.... 3AM.... been up that late, but never been up that early. Considering my general absence from our local group meetings I should make the effort... Rob, we'll set an extra place for you...

Come on Rob, you only live once! and you've never lived at all unless you've had breakfast at Photon's.

Wo oh wo wo....... Breakfast @ Photon's

The Stars are Up

and the Moon is Down

and we're heading outa town

The scopes are cold

The eyepieces are round

And you know where we'll all be found!

Unhappy A Sad Tale

Sunday Morning's viewing session and breakfast was a non-starter due to cloud.

We may be making another attempt this coming weekend which should be interesting as DavePretorius has apparently just finished motorizing the Dob.

I've started on mine with the purchase of a lazy susan hinge. Gee it swings around almost effortless notwithstanding all the mechanics to come. Next is a laptop and webcam.

Anyway lets all hope for better this coming weekend.

Kind regards to all and hope to see you at Bridgenorth.

Definite again for this coming Sunday Morning!

Yes it's definite for this coming Sunday Morning.

The moon is down at 2.00pm so we'll be up.

Look forward to seeing you Acropolite and Oldboy if you read this.

May the Craziness be with you!

Well we finally made it out and were amply rewarded with some great sites and a great breakfast to rap it all up.
