6 inch 1200mm FL reflector for grab and go?

Greetings all - Im considering adding a little 'grab and go' scope to my C8...

This would be for lunar and planetary viewing, and Im thinking thst a 6 inch, long focal length reflector would be ideal - I know you can get them for about 400 now, complete with a dob mount.

How would this compare to something like a 4 inch ED refractor? (Im also considering one of those North Group 127 Triplets - not exactly grab and go I guess!)

Andrews has GSO 6" f/5 OTA for $200.

You can make a dob mount, better and lighter than the factory made one, for around $50. Much more grab-'n-go than an f/8.

My reasoning on the F8 is that it will be better for lunar and planetary, because of the longer focal length. Guess I could use a barlow...
