HEQ6 Guider Cable

I have no knowledge whatsoever on the HEQ6 mount, but have a friend who just purchased one in NZ.
He tells me it has an RJ45 socket outlet for the auto-guider port, and his QHY5 has an RJ11 socket.
I am looking at putting together a suitable cable for him, but need some advice or guidance on the correct pin-outs. Is this information available, and if so where?
Thanks, appreciate the help.
Gary

Try the EQ6 or EQMOD yahoo tech groups. It may be in old postings or you may have to join and ask the question there. Then again, maybe someone here has had this problem solved already.

Thanks guys.
I have joined the Yahoo group, and am awaiting membership. The post you listed was helpful sort of Peter, but without knowing which way is up with the plug it was only of limited assistance. I am sure I am not the first to ask, so the info will be there, just a mater of finding it.

It looks like this Gary. Oh, and they are both 6 conductor RJ12 plugs.

Robin. Legendary, thank you. So confirming, one is an RJ11 (or RJ12), and the other is RJ45?
The RJ45 looks to have 8 contacts, all I need to know now is which are not connected?
