Like 'sea-pigs' they were! The noise!
I love Pelicans. They're endlessly entertaining and quite willing to pose, if they think you have food.
These gathered at sunset for, I presume, a run of sardines or whiting.


Info: 30D, 300 2.8Lis + 1.4 ext., Hand-held. Daylight WB.
200% 'crop' with no post. Suggestions welcome.

Costs more for headshots

By the look of that Peter, they are a little annoyed you rocked up for photos without the expected amount of food reward.
Nice capture though, unique in pelican photo circles I would venture.
