NGC 1858 and friends Part II

Hi All,

As the other thread has discussions other than imaging, I'll open another with this image.

It's the same field as before with more Ha data (4 hours in total). I processed this one to bring out the detail in the nebulosity, trying hard to retain the colour from the RGB.

After several attempts using two different methods of data combination I achieved about as good as I can do today. The data looks to be background clipped, this is an artifact of the LP removal procedure. I like it as it really brings out the faint nebulosity.

Indeed... Great detail... Looks a little oversaturated on my screen... a bit too red..

That said I wouldnt trust my eyes as far as I could smack them with a golf club... so I guess, nevermind.. haha
