New years resolution

1 Eat healthier.
2 Get out into the bush more and enjoy the isolation of harsh inacessable terrain. Camping, hiking, caving, canoeing, survival trips etc etc.
3 Take more risks.

That's me.

How about you?

Baz.

Hmmm I dont do NY resolutions but my goals this year are to expand my home based business, keep going with my exercise program, learn more about astronomy (currently a bit overwhelmed with it all as a noob), get some more practice/experience with amateur photography and keep improving my cooking skills.....

Baz,

I think I'll join you in on all 3 of those resolutions. They sound tops to me.

Also, to get the web site done/paid for before June.

Sarah, cool. What type of business, if you don't mind me asking?

Regards,
Humayun

I'll echo H in committing to get my website done.

I'm also going to spend more time getting out there with my camera taking more shots, as well as learning more skills on the processing side of things.

Doug, the problem is they out-number us!

1. Eat healthier.

2. De-clutter my life, hobbies, workshop etc... sell all my unwanted items.

3. Complete landscaping our property.

I have a few on the to-do list, will echo a few of Baz's and Stephens....
In no particular order...

1. Quit smoking.
2. Eat Healthier.
3. Get onto the surfboard again.
4. De-clutter my life... come from a family of hoarders.
5. Take more risks... eg, the tough one, pluck up the courage to tell the girl at work I love her
6. Crash and burn (see #5)

I did all that stuff last year.

Eating healthier and quitting smoking made me feel a whole lot better. So I got out and did more farmwork. That buggered my back. The pain is constant and so nothing gets done except double slow.

I made an effort to get to know my neighbours. Some are great. Most are insane, ill-educated boozing gun-nuts who think Pauline Hansen is too soft.

I tried to be nicer to people and more trusting. I got taken for a ride to the tune of $3000 by a tradesman.

If Gordon Ramsay could cook like me, he'd die happy. Now everyone comes to our place for Sunday dinner and we're going broke feeding them.

I resolved to get my work streamlined and finish early. I did. They were supposed to make me redundant and give me a fat wad of cash. Now they're all impressed and want to promote me.

Bugger!
I'm going back to being a surly unpleasant loafer who smokes and drinks,
works when he feels like it, refuses to go in the kitchen and never talks to anybody.
Its safer that way!

Happy Whateveritisyou'resupposedtobehappy aboutday!

Quite the opposite Ben
You always make resolutions you have absolutely NO hope of achieving.

Mate, just do it! I made mistake not telling her and I will never forgive myself for it. What you got to lose? Just ask her out to see the "Avatar" movie with you

I agree with you on this one, it is very realistic one. The key word here is "attempt"

cheers
