Couple of friends

These two have been frequent visitors to my yard and today they moved into a tree about 15 feet from my front verandah. They didnt seem too worried about us or the noise from my 2 grandchildren.

Their plumage is amazing. If they were in an iron bark, you would probably have missed them entirely.

I wasnt quick enough 5 seconds before I took this shot they where both warning me off both staring at me and beaks wide open.
I believe they are Frog Mouths..

Sorry Adrian .... taking over the thread a bit

...jjj .... I actually put earlier that its was david Bowieish - then deleted it ... ... yes, dont mind a bit of Bowie, have a couple of his CDs. Hmm, might play some today.
