Dolphins, Polar Bears & Sea Lions – it has to be the Gold Coast!

Hello,

We picked up an annual theme park pass for $99.00 each, giving us unlimited access to three theme parks at the Gold Coast; Sea World, Movie World and Wet & Wild (water based activities).

Here are some photos of the animals of Sea World, putting the trainers through their routines!

Thanks for looking!

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

I only have to see the poster's name as 'Dennis' and a subject line that contains
the names of animals and I always know I will be in for a treat.

And once again, you have not let me down when I clicked through to your post
and then on to each of these extraordinary images! Absolutely brilliant and I know
that anyone else who was probably in the audience also taking photos would look
at yours and find it hard to believe they were at the same show.

Each of the shots has a theme of animation which brings their subjects to life.

I have photographed wildlife in Africa, but next time I go, could I pack you rather
than an extra lens?

You are a master!

Best regards

Gary

Great work, Dennis. You've certainly captured a lot of action and fun - what it's all about.

Hello, Gary

I’m so pleased that the excitement of Sea World and the appeal of its fascinating creatures inspired you - thank you for your warm words of appreciation. We managed to talk with some of the dolphin trainers and their love of, and dedication to those in their charge, really shone through.

I am really enjoying my (earth based!) photography right now. The gear I have helps me get some nice results and the image processing tools of CS4 and Topaz Suite help me refine the raw captures into what I saw in my minds eye when I squeezed the shutter release.

After 3 years of practicing yoga, I am reasonably flexible so I suspect I will easily fit into your suitcase on your next wild life trip to Africa!

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Jeanette & Troy,

As we watched the dolphin and sea lion shows, I became uncertain as to who was in charge? It almost appeared that the dolphins and sea lions were actually putting their so called “trainers” through their paces!

Cheers

Dennis
