Eta Car & Gabriela Mistral

Hi Folks,

I've been busy for quite some time and now I am back on track Few weeks ago we went for an observational trip in Chilean Andes and here is the outcome.

Eta Carinae nebula as well as Gabriela Mistral nebula.

Takahashi EM200
FSQ106ED
SBIG STL-11000
H_alpha:R:G:B = 210:60:60:60

Awesome! Huge field peppered with stars. Is that the full field of the FSQ106 or did you have to mosaic?

Beautiful work mate! That sure is a lovely field of view.. I get much the same FOV with my 80/480 @ F/4.8 (384mm) and aps sized sensor... Its a very pretty way to capture these larger objects!

You've done really well with your image.. If I were you I'd be getting that printed out A3 or A2 and hanging that on my wall!!

Thanks, guys ! Indeed, this a full field of FSQ+STL-11000. Of course, mosaic would be much better in this particular case. However, it's also more time consuming.

Cool - just checking because that field was huge. I didn't realise your field was that wide. I thought maybe this was a mosaic already.
