QANTAS flight delayed because ............

a bird has flown into the cockpit (while the plane is on the ground at Melbourne airport), then has crawled side the cockpit instrumentation and is now stuck there.

How unlucky is that 1) for me and 2) for the bird.

I was once told a story about a bear in Canada that attacked a parked airplane after it was buzzed by it. Perhaps this is something similar..

I am sure it is not the first time a bird was stuck in the cockpit of a Qantas aircraft!

You can entice them out with a bit of bread.

I thought the pilots got the birds out of the cockpit by flashing an engagement ring.

The flight steward made the joke on landing in Sydney at 10pm, that the only other person who could understand how a bird could get you into so much trouble was Tiger Woods.
