Mars - 11th Nov -ToUcam shots

These are a couple of shots I processed from the other night.
Used the ToUcam and 4x powermate and IR/UV filter.
The conditions were ok but not the best.
The closeup is just a zoomed in shot done in Photoshop.
I've got to process some more avi's and update soon.

Comments most welcome.

Cheers

That's a great shot Andrew!

Were they taken through your 12" or ED80?

The image scale looks too small to have been taken with your 12" + a 4x powermate..

Yeah sorry guys about the late reply, I haven't been able to log on properly since yesterday.

Firstly thank you for your kind comments. It's a real encouragement for me.

To answer your question:

You guys are very observant and you're right about image scale.
I have a new scope but there were some initial issues which concerned me but in the end were nothing so I have gladly kept the scope.
Anyway.
I wanted to test it out and see if all was ok. Wanted to see if anyone could pick up any faults without knowing the scope.
The previous few Mars images were first light through my new TOA 130.

Didn't mean to mislead you guys in any way.

So the details of the images (I think) are:

FL:1000mm, f7.7 but with the 4x PMate it's approx f/30 (does that sound right?)

Cheers guys.
And thanks again.
