A number of members post about having this or that gizmo that was specially made for them by someone or have this or that product that is just perfect for whatever its perfect for, but comes from the Aircraft industry or Surgical supply house.
I'd like to start a thread containing the contact details of individuals or firms that do one-off engineering work or supply useful gizmos / products for Astronomy that come from elsewhere?
For instance, I'm looking for someone to make a support/locking arm for my Dob and a Wheeley Bars knock-off. No one locally seems capable (its very Tractor oriented).
There seem to be a wealth of very clever and competent types on here.
Any contributors?!
